Hello from the Taylor family

Pastor Tim Taylor

Author

Tim has a Bachelor of Theology from Southern Adventist University and a Master of Divinity from the Andrews University Seminary, and he’s studying for a Doctor of Ministry degree. He has served as a pastor and as a Certified Life Coach, and, best of all, as a dad and an uncle. Tim also has a background in technology: he was nearly finished with a computer science degree when he felt God calling him into ministry. Today he serves as the Technology and Innovation Director for Child Impact International, a nonprofit that empowers vulnerable children through education and fights human trafficking around the world, where his love for kids and his technology expertise come together. More than anything, Tim loves helping people get to know Jesus and fall in love with Him, then live for Him and bring others along.

Editor

Laura has a Bachelor’s degree in Religion from Andrews University and is a Certified Life Coach. She homeschools their three boys, so she spends her days seeing how kids really learn: what keeps them curious, what loses them, and what sticks. As editor, she reads through the Scripture Champions scripts with Tim, making sure Levi and Lily sound like friends kids want to learn alongside, and that every lesson stays clear, kind and true to the Bible.

Scripture Champions is an independent project of the Taylor family and is not affiliated with Child Impact International.
